He's 1!

Benjamin is one year old!  Wasn't he just born?  How did it all go by so fast?

Yep, he's wearing footies.  Doesn't walk yet, but any second now, he'll figure it out.  And then, here comes trouble, big time.

The kid needs hair.  And he's delicious and adorable, and I need to see him.

Heeeeeere's Mister!

He doesn't resemble anyone I know.  The mystery Mister.  I can't wait to give those cheeks a good smooch, and plant little kissies on top of his head.

The blankie at the bottom was woven by his big sister, and then sewn together.

He's here!

Benjamin Walter is here!

Mister now has a name!

Saturday at 11 PM.  7 lbs 7 oz.  19" long.

Welcome to the world, newest grandchild!

Needless to say, we are beyond excited.  This is our last grand, we think.  So now we have 3 girls, 3 boys, 2 grand cats, 1 grand dog, 3 grand hermit crabs, and 1 grand bird.  Pretty good, huh?

I have to finish all the baby gear I've started, although he does have tons of baby clothing.  They got clothing from family, friends, neighbors, and leftover stuff from Miss P.  But he needs new Grammie stuff, doesn't he?

Yippee!

The Yarnarian Dyes in Neutral Mode

I got hit by the neutral bug yesterday. It must have been the influence of my waning cold (yeah, waning). So here's what I did. The bottom 2 are Emily lace weight yarn, 100% merino, 1200+ yards and soft as a baby's bottom. All available gradually in my Etsy shop, of course.

And speaking of babies' bottoms, I'm going to meet little Lilith later today! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. I'll admire her, give great praise to her parents, and then play with poor little Benster, who has been demoted to big brother status. giggle.

Bishop Stone - It is quite a wicked yarn. I'm posting it today and its name is Purple Grackle after a most evil bird!

The Yarnarian is a Grandma Again!

Lilith Grace, aka Lily Grace, was born at 3-ish this morning. 8 lbs, 14 oz. Mom and baby are doing just fine.

The Hubbo is going into Brooklyn to see them; I have a cold so I don't want to inflict it on anyone.

Babies, we have a new baby.

Hi, Lily Grace from Grammie and Grandpa!

Thank you all for your congratulations. I've kvelling. Yiddish word for bursting with delight. Try pronouncing the k and the v together. Babies!

Grace - Talk about 6 degrees of separation! Isn't that a wonderful coincidence!
