A picture of the row I'm working on.
I forgot to take pictures of a complete row on the other side of the quilt. So here you are. Not the greatest photos, but you get what you get.
And an overall shot of part of the quilt. I wish you could see this in real life; it's so much prettier than indoor shots on my kitchen floor.
That's it. We were up in Maine last week. We like to stay in Ogunquit, which is southern coastal Maine. Went all over the place, up to Kennebunk, across to Boothbay, over to Dover, NH, etc. etc. Kennebunk is a charming little town and so much nicer than the crazy Kennebunkport. We did get to Portland, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, a bunch of lighthouses, Alewives Fabrics in Nobleboro, and so on. I came home with lots of fat quarters, which I'm going to fussy cut (I need my head examined) for a POTC quilt when I finish Whirligig. I'm such an optimist. grin.

Sounds like a lovely trip. I need to get to the Northeast someday. Whirligig is spectacular I love one block quilts. As long as you love the stitching, is ok to have fat quarters waiting!
Beautiful! It's really growing!
I love how we get these creative ideas of things we want to make!
Enjoy your hand stitching!
What a wonderful vacation! I miss vacationing in Maine. Love how this quilt is progressing. So fun to see that purple in the top photo - I have that and never thought to pair with that color but boy - does it look amazing together! Enjoy the stitching.
Sounds like a great vacation! Love seeing your blocks grow!
Your quilt is looking fabulous. It sounds as if your time away has been well enjoyed, taking in all the pretty towns and scenery.
I must have missed it. What is the name of that pattern? Thanks.
It's growing and looking so pretty!
