Still here!

I just realized that my last post was at the end of January! Good grief! I'm still knitting and quilting, but at a slower rate. Why? I don't know. It just is.

And what do I have to show for my efforts? A brand-new Bohus-style yoke sweater. Bottom-up. Endless knitting on body and sleeves. Join them and then the fun begins. I do love Fair Isle knitting. I love any stranded knitting. But this time, I thought I'd play with Bohus knitting. Way back when, Meg Swansen of Schoolhouse Press, did a Wool Gathering on Bohus knitting. I used most of her chart for this sweater, but it's easy enough to do my own. Next one will be a Ruth Bohus sweater.

Yarn is Shetland, my favorite for color work. Mostly Jamieson & Smith with some Spindrift tossed in.

Quilting? I'm somewhat in between taking pictures. At the moment, I'm binding a leader-ender quilt, and I have 4 more quilts to be bound. Plus one at the quilt shop for longarm quilting, and 3 in progress. I might have too much going on. But they do get finished eventually.

Happy Spring!

Happy Passover! 1st seder is Sat night and I'm Not doing it. Not this year.  Off to DD. It's awfully nice not to have all that work. I do love making a seder, but this is a year for self-care. Both the Hubz and I are still recovering from 2024 and his health issues.
