So what else is new?

 Bread, socks.  That's it.

This is a no-knead loaf, mixed together 12 days ago.  It's the last of that batch.  I mixed up another batch while this was baking. All-purpose flour, water, salt, yeast.  The longer you keep it, the more fermented it is.  My dough bucket smelled like a brewery.  Kind of yeasty and wild.

And yet another pair of socks, this one for the Hubz.  Yarn from Earth and Empress.  463 yards and I had leftovers. The Hubz has large feet.

No-knead bread in the Dutch oven

What can I say?  Here it is, the second attempt at a no-knead bread baked in my Dutch oven.  I've made many no-knead breads in the past, and then forgot about the technique.  Saw Jim Lahey make his version of a no-knead, and thought I'd play with it again.  First dough was way too liquid, so I tightened this dough up a bit and here it is.  It's too hot for me to cut, but I'm looking forward to it.
